Purpose: Select a course from Years 1-3 that Year 4 students might need to take. The system will create constraints to prevent Year 4 courses from conflicting with the selected course.
Note: Only Years 1-3 courses are shown. Year 4 students are the ones who take courses from other years.

How It Works
  • Select a course: Choose any course from Years 1-3 (Year 4 courses not shown)
  • Automatic constraints: System creates constraints for Year 4 students only
  • Example: If you select "COMP101 (Year 2)", constraints are created for Year 4 students
  • Algorithm effect: Year 4 students can take this course without conflicts with their Year 4 courses
  • Year 4 focus: Only Year 4 students can take courses from other years
